We welcome the removal of the 100% quota, as this is an important step toward avoiding disproportionate burdens on businesses operators. Due to a lack of technical solutions, maintaining the 100% quota would lead to high costs. This applies in particular to small and medium-sized enterprises, which do not have the necessary capacity to meet the reusable quotas for pallet wraps or strapping in accordance with Article 29. In addition, we believe it is imperative to remove the 40% quota, as this is also impractical.
