We, Japanese electrical and electronic industrial associations-JEMA, JEITA, CIAJ and JBMIA (hereinafter JP4EE) welcome the opportunity to offer our comments and proposals on the proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and Regulation (EU) 2024/1244 as regards simplification of some requirements and reduction of administrative burden (COM(2025) 981 final): JP4EE strongly supports the recent Commission efforts towards simpler regulations, smoother implementation and less bureaucracy.
