Södra welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the European Commissions initiative to reduce administrative burdens in environmental legislation. Södra sees the need to focus on the Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Nature Restoration Regulation (NRR). About Södra Södra is Swedens largest forest owners association, representing 52,000 family forest owners who collectively manage over half of Swedens privately owned forest land. Södra är intresserade av alla frågor som rör skog, industri, miljö, bioenergi, bioekonomi och klimat. Där ingår exempelvis alla de lagförslag som kommer inom EU:s skogsstrategi, Strategin för biologisk mångfald, EU:s handlingsplan för den cirkulära ekonomin, Bioekonomistrategi, Biotech Act etc.
