The Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) fully supports the European Commissions initiative to streamline EU environmental legislation and reduce unnecessary administrative burdens. As the second-largest exporter of palm oil to the EU, Malaysian palm oil producers are directly affected by the environmental regulations that the EU imposes on imports of palm oil.
