BWSI welcomes the elements of flexibility introduced in the Commissions draft delegated act regarding Articles 29(2) and 29(3) on reuse targets for transport packaging (pallet wrapping and straps) as a positive first step. This approach recognises the lack of viable alternatives for glass containers, the potential risk of supply chain disruption, and the disproportionate costs involved.
