The U.S. Industrial Pellet Association (USIPA), representing the U.S. wood pellet export sector, welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the Commissions consultation on simplifying EU environmental legislation. We urge the Commission to make the Regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR) a priority in its forthcoming simplification initiative. Our members strongly support the EUs goal of halting global deforestation and ensuring sustainable supply chains and are already delivering on the aims of the Regulation.
