Glass for Europe appreciates the opportunity to provide feedback on the reuse obligations under Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR). The flat glass industry already heavily relies on reusable packaging (stillages) to transport flat glass throughout the EU. In addition, plastic wrappings and straps are critical components for ensuring the safe transportation of products when placed on these reusable stillages. These packaging components also ensure that the integrity of flat glass properties and coating performance are preserved throughout the supply chain.
