Greenpeace European Unit

Greenpeace European Unit shares the concerns, and supports the position, of thousands of EU citizens that contributed to this consultation, calling the Commission to refrain from rolling back environmental legislation under the pretext of simplifying it or of reducing the administrative burden. From a general standpoint, Greenpeace considers that the omnibus approach chosen by the EU Commission undermines the integrity of the EU legislative process, the stability of the EU acquis and, ultimately, the credibility of EU decision makers vis-à-vis European citizens, companies, national administrations and international partners.
