Arnika's mission is to promote environmental health, prevent toxic pollution within the European and global context. Arnika aims to eliminate the use and releases of POPs and other toxic chemicals in the Czech Republic as well as globally. Main Eu Legislation proposals: We work on chemicals legislation and specific products legislation in relation to chemicals and the European Strategy for Sustainability of Chemicals and Sustainable Products Initiative + specific EU legislation: REACH, POPs regulation, Toys directive, ROHS directive etc. We work on waste legislation (Waste Framework directive, European Pollution and Transfer Register (EPRTR), European Union Emissions Trading System, Circular Economy Action Plan and Waste Shipment directive) We also comment on the EU position in relation to international agreements including Stockholm, Basel, Minamata and Aarhus Convention. Additionally, we comment on Water Framework directive, Natura 2000. Generally, we also work on implementing EU Green Deal priorities in relation to major campaing goals of Arnika.
