Earthsight is a UK-based non-profit organisation which uses in-depth investigations to expose the links between global supply chains and environmental and social crime. We have published numerous reports highlighting the role of EU demand in driving global deforestation and have monitored the implementation of the European Timber Regulation (EUTR) since our inception. We have prepared the attached submission to respond to the Commissions call for evidence.
